Ode to an Elephant Trunk
Oh, elephant trunk,
you are so long.
You are taller than me,
and your own leg.
You are two things in one,
a nose and lip.
You are soft to the touch
and so smooth.
You are a magnificent thing.
If anything happened it wouldn't be the same.
You are connected between the eyes,
like a nose on a human,
but a little different.
Elephant trunk you are a very interesting thing
and I am glad to have researched a thing like you!
